Too-Low Neckline Fix Here's a quick, simple fix for a neckline that's too low: just sew in a bit of lace at the neckline. (For a closeup picture of this tankini top, click here.)

Too-Short Tankini Fix Here's a fix for a tankini top that's too short: just sew a band of fabric around the bottom, on the inside. Cut a strip of fabric about twice as long as you need, sew it into a tube the same width as the tankini top, put it underneath the top (like a layering t-shirt) and stitch in place. (The white in the picture is the add-on.)

Total Tankini Fix Here's an ingenious fix for a tankini top that's too short and has a plunging neckline. Use a camisole to fix it! Cut a piece from the camisole neckline and stitch in place at the neckline to provide the coverage you need. Cut a piece from the bottom of the tankini and stitch in place to lengthen the tankini top. (The black in the picture is the camisole add-ins.)
